Jame DiBiasio is an author, media entrepreneur and journalist. He is founder of DigFin, a media brand and content agency dedicated to digital finance, fintech, and digital assets (www.digfingroup.com) that is now part of AMTD Digital. His books include "Cowries to Crypto" and "Block Kong" (co-author). His book on venture capital will be published in 2023.

Current Position and Responsibilities 
Maaike Steinebach is Visa’s General Manager for Hong Kong and Macau. She is responsible for the full business operations, strategy development and management of Visa’s businesses in the two territories. She is also the founding member of the FinTech Association of Hong Kong.  

Other Information  
Maaike brings more than 20 years of experience working in institutional, commercial and private banking in Europe, Asia, and Greater China.  

Before joining Visa, Maaike served for five years as Country Executive of Commonwealth Bank of Australia (Hong Kong), and before that as Country Executive for ABN AMRO (Hong Kong) and Regional Head Asia for the corporate bank. Prior to Hong Kong, Maaike spent five years in Shanghai as Country Manager for Fortis Bank Greater China.  

As founding member of Women in Tech HK and Women Chief Executive Group HK, Maaike is active in the advocacy for full and equal participation of women and girls in Hong Kong economy and society. She is also an active member in the fintech community in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.  

Maaike has a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Amsterdam.

Jehan Chu is Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Kenetic, a blockchain Venture Capital and cryptocurrency trading firm based in Hong Kong. A former front-end developer, he started investing in cryptocurrency in 2013 and has invested and supported over 230 projects. Jehan founded the Ethereum HK community (2014), co-Founded the Bitcoin Association of Hong Kong (2014) and founded the Hyperledger HK community (2016).

Jehan is a graduate of the Kauffman Fellows Program, Director’s Circle of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and is co-Founder and Board member of Social Alpha Foundation, a blockchain/social impact non-profit. Jehan holds a BA from Johns Hopkins University and MA from Hong Kong University / Central St. Martin’s.

Ir. Eric Chan is the Chief Public Mission Officer of the Hong Kong Cyberport. Chan is in charge of the public mission operation at Cyberport, building the ecosystem of nurturing start-ups through comprehensive entrepreneurship programmes.

Chan is a veteran in the ICT industry, a chartered engineer and a Fellow of Institution of Engineering & Technology (UK). Prior to joining Cyberport, Chan held various senior positions in global ICT companies. Chan has been active in public services, especially in education & industrial training and professional bodies. Chan is the Chairman of Knowledge Management Development Center, Chairman of Industrial Training Advisory Committee (ICT Sector) and serves on a number of advisory committees for government and universities.

A seasoned management consultant and finance industry professional, Helene has held various senior management positions in Strategic Planning, Marketing and Branding throughout her career which includes tenure at global consulting giants Boston Consulting Group and Willis Towers Watson.

Prior to founding GoImpact platform developed to accelerate the adoption of Sustainable Finance, Helene was Managing Director and Head of Strategic Planning, Brand and Communications Asia Pacific for BNP Paribas Wealth Management, a role she has held for 5 years. She also held similar roles at J.P. Morgan Private Bank and Swiss wealth management firm Lombard Odier. In these capacities, she was instrumental in advancing the agenda of Sustainable Finance and Investments across a broad client base of family offices and asset owners.

Helene is a known Influencer and Key Opinion Leader in Fintech and Digital Transformation, recognized by Thomson Reuters Refinitiv as Top 5 in Asia Pacific, and globally a Top 2 Influencer in Sustainable Finance. She has received numerous accolades as Top 100 Women in Finance from FinTech Times, and Top 50 Hall of Fame Global Fintech Leaders. GoImpact platform has already forged partnerships with key players like Temasek Foundation, UNDP, Financial Times and Bloomberg since inception one year ago.

A sought-after speaker and moderator at Fintech and Sustainable Finance forums, Helene graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a First Class Honors degree in English and Economics.

Bénédicte is the Head of the BIS Innovation Hub, Hong Kong Centre. Prior to this appointment, she was a managing director at SC Ventures, the innovation arm of Standard Chartered Bank that leads a series of new ventures across digital banking, banking as a service, SME finance and blockchain. From 2018-2019, she was the Vice President of International Government Relations at Circle, involved in the evolution of blockchain and digital assets. From 2012-2018, she was the Head of Risk & Strategy of the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), and in that capacity also acting as the Vice Chair of the Committee on Emerging Risks and the Fintech research lead for the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO). From 2007-2012, she was a managing director at Credit Suisse and before that from 1997-2007 she was an associate and executive director at Goldman Sachs. Originally from Belgium, she holds LL.M. and M.B.A. degrees from the University of Chicago and the University of Leuven. She is admitted to the New York Bar since 1999. In 2016, she was a recipient of the China Daily Asian Women Leadership Awards for her efforts related to entrepreneurship, innovation and charity. She remains closely engaged in these topics, most recently through her involvement in the Fintech Association of Hong Kong (FTAHK) and Women in Finance Asia (WiFA.)

Arthur has served as Futu’s Chief Financial Officer since September 2017. Prior to joining the Company, Arthur served as a director at Citigroup Global Markets Asia Limited from 2009 to 2016 in its equity business. He also served as a vice president at China International Capital Corporation from 2005 to 2009. Arthur received his bachelor’s degree in economics from Shanghai University of Finance & Economics in 1998 and his master’s degree in business administration from China Europe International Business School in 2005.

Dr. YI Gang is the Governor of the People’s Bank of China and the Deputy Director of the Financial Stability and Development Committee of the State Council. He sits on the Board of Directors of the Bank for International Settlements.

Dr. Yi joined the People’s Bank of China in 1997 and has held a number of positions, including Secretary-General of the Monetary Policy Committee and Director-General of the Monetary Policy Department. In December 2007, he became a deputy governor and was appointed Administrator of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange in July 2009, a position he held until December 2015. He was appointed Governor of the People’s Bank of China in March 2018.

Dr. Yi received a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Illinois in 1986 and was a faculty member in the Department of Economics, Indiana University from 1986 to 1994. In 1994, he co-founded the China Center for Economic Research (CCER) at Peking University and has been a professor at the CCER since then.

His research interests include money, banking and the Chinese economy.

Ms. Jessica Tan is currently Co-CEO of Ping An Group (the “Group”), overseeing the Group’s insurance, technology and healthcare businesses. She sits on the Group’s Executive Committee and Investment Management Committee for its over 30 subsidiaries across Insurance, Banking, Investment, Technology and Internet businesses. She is in charge of 10+ Ping An subsidiaries. Ms. Tan also serves on the board of a number of subsidiaries under Ping An Bank, Ping An Property & Casualty, Ping An Life, and Ping An Asset Management.

In Ms. Tan’s 9 years at Ping An, the Group grew from the world’s 30th largest financial conglomerate into the 2th, serving 668 million online users and 225 million financial customers. Moreover, Ping An made major strides in technology and innovation, having established research institutes and increasing its R&D staff from to over 30,000 (including nearly 3,900 scientists). The Group has filed over 43,000 patent applications around the world, ranking 1st for fintech, AI and digital healthcare globally. In addition, Ping An has won over 70 international championships in the last 5 years, including image recognition, semantic understanding, deep learning, medical imaging, intelligent diagnosis, and has published over 250 papers in internationally renowned journals covering healthtech, AI and other fields, such as The Lancet and American Journal of Kidney Diseases.

Ms. Tan serves as a member of several government advisory committees, including a global director of the Institute of International Finance (IIF), a member of the International Association for the Study of Insurance Economics (the Geneva Association), a member of international advisory panel for Human Health and Potential (HHP) of Singapore, a member of International Advisory Board (IAB) of University of Oxford Blavatnik School of Government, an international Advisor of Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), a member of Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), and an expert advisor of Shenzhen Advisory Committee, as well as an advisor of Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and Seoul International Business Advisory Council (SIBAC). She also represented Ping An as one of Co-Chairs for the World Economic Forum (WEF) Davos event in 2019. Ms. Tan received the Chinese Government Friendship Award in 2019. In 2020, Ms. Tan was listed by the Fortune magazine as the second most powerful woman outside of the US, and won the “Best 2 CEO” award from Institutional Investor’s 2020 All-Asia Executive Team rankings. In 2021, Ms. Tan was named Her World magazine's Woman of the Year, and ranked 6th on the World’s 50 Greatest Leaders list by the Fortune magazine.

Before joining Ping An, Ms. Tan served as a global partner at McKinsey & Company. In her 13 years with McKinsey in the USA and ten Asian countries, Ms. Tan has worked with over 30 world-leading financial and technology companies and regulatory authorities, focusing on strategy, innovation, operations and technology. She graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), with a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science and two bachelor’s degrees in Electrical Engineering and Economics respectively. As a native Singaporean, Ms. Tan is married and has two daughters.

Ray Dalio is the founder, Co-CIO and Co-Chairman of Bridgewater Associates, a global macroeconomic investment management firm and the largest hedge fund in the world. A global macro investor for more than 50 years, Ray started Bridgewater out of his two-bedroom apartment in NYC and ran it for most of its 45 years. He is also the author of New York Times #1 bestseller Principles: Life & Work as well as Principles for Navigating Big Debt Crises, which he co-published with Bridgewater. Additionally, Ray has also published several studies on current financial and social issues including “Why and How Capitalism Needs to be Reformed” and “The Changing World Order: Why Countries Succeed and Fail”; both are available on LinkedIn. He graduated with a B.S. in Finance from C.W. Post College in 1971 where he majored in finance and he received an MBA degree from Harvard Business School in 1973. He has been married to his wife, Barbara, for more than 40 years and has four grown sons. He is an active philanthropist with a special interest in ocean exploration, microfinance and equal educational opportunities for underprivileged youth.

Ray Kurzweil is one of the world’s leading inventors, thinkers, and futurists, with a thirty-year track record of accurate predictions. Dr. Kai-Fu Lee is the Chairman and CEO of Sinovation Ventures  (www.sinovationventures.com/) and President of Sinovation Venture’s Artificial  Intelligence Institute. Sinovation Ventures, managing US$2 billion dual currency  investment funds, is a leading venture capital firm focusing on developing the next  generation of Chinese high-tech companies. Prior to founding Sinovation in 2009, Dr.  Lee was the President of Google China, and senior executives at Microsoft, SGI, and  Apple. Dr. Lee received his Bachelor degree from Computer Science from Columbia  University, Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon University, as well as Honorary Doctorate  Degrees from both Carnegie Mellon and the City University of Hong Kong. He is the  Co-Chair of Artificial Intelligence Council for World Economic Forum Center for the  Fourth Industrial Revolution, Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics  Engineers (IEEE), Times 100 in 2013, WIRED 25 Icons , Asian Business Leader 2018  by Asia House, and followed by over 50 million audience on social media.  

In the field of artificial intelligence, Dr. Lee built one of the first game playing programs to defeat a world champion (1988, Othello), as well as the world’s first large-vocabulary, speaker independent continuous speech recognition  system. Dr. Lee founded Microsoft Research China, which was named as the hottest research lab by MIT Technology Review. Later renamed Microsoft Research Asia, this institute trained the great majority of AI leaders in China, including CTOs or AI heads at Baidu, Tencent, Alibaba, Lenovo, Huawei, and Haier. While with Apple, Dr. Lee led AI projects in speech and natural language, which have been featured on Good Morning America on ABC Television and the front page of Wall Street Journal. Altogether, Dr. Lee has been in artificial  intelligence research, development, and investment for more than 30 years. Jim Rogers, a native of Demopolis, Alabama, is an author, financial commentator, adventurer, and successful international investor.  He has been frequently featured in Time, The Washington Post, The New York Times, Barron’s, Forbes, Fortune, The Wall Street Journal, The Financial Times, The Business Times, The Straits Times and many media outlets worldwide.  He has also appeared as a regular commentator and columnist in various media and has been a professor at Columbia University.

After attending Yale and Oxford University, Rogers co-founded the Quantum Fund, a global-investment partnership.  During the next 10 years, the portfolio gained 4200%, while the S&P rose less than 50%.  Rogers then decided to retire – at age 37.  Continuing to manage his own portfolio, Rogers kept busy serving as a full professor of finance at the Columbia University Graduate School of Business, and, in 1989 and 1990, as the moderator of WCBS's 'The Dreyfus Roundtable' and FNN's 'The Profit Motive with Jim Rogers'.

In 1990-1992, Rogers fulfilled his lifelong dream: motorcycling 100,000 miles across six continents, a feat that landed him in the Guinness Book of World Records.  As a private investor, he constantly analyzed the countries through which he traveled for investment ideas.  He chronicled his one-of-a-kind journey in Investment Biker: On the Road with Jim Rogers.  Jim also embarked on a Millennium Adventure in 1999.  He traveled for 3 years on his round-the-world, Guinness World Record journey. It was his 3rd Guinness Record.  Passing through 116 countries, he covered more than 245,000 kilometers, which he recounted in his book Adventure Capitalist: The Ultimate Road Trip.  His book, Hot Commodities: How Anyone Can Invest Profitably In The World's Best Market, was published in 2004.  Another of his books A Bull in China describes his experiences in China as well as the changes and opportunities there. His recent book A Gift to My Children is a heartfelt, indispensable guide for his daughters (as well as for all adults and children) to find success and happiness. His latest memoir Street Smarts: Adventures on the Road and in the Markets was published in February 2013. Recently in January 2018, his book A Gift to My Children, 2nd edition which was published in Chinese, was launched in China. And in October 2018, another of his book The Next Big Wave, published in Complex Chinese, was launched in Taiwan. Rogers had two number one bestsellers in Japan namely The Future of Japan and A Warning to Japan that were published in January and July 2019 respectively.

Bill Winters is the Group Chief Executive of Standard Chartered PLC (June 2015 – Present).

Bill is a Non-Executive Director of Novartis International AG. He presently Chairs the Taskforce for Scaling Voluntary Carbon Markets and Co-Chairs the B20 Action Council on Sustainability & Global Emergencies.

Bill spent 26 years with JP Morgan and was Co-CEO of the Investment Bank (2004-2009).  He was a committee member of the Independent Commission on Banking, established by the UK Govt (2010) and served as advisor to the Parliamentary Commission on Banking Standards. Bill also founded Renshaw Bay, a hedge fund which he ran from 2011-2015.

Bill holds an MBA from Wharton and was awarded a CBE in 2013.

Ashley is the Chief Executive Officer of the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) of Hong Kong. He was first appointed in October 2011. In May 2016, Ashley was elected as Chair of the Board of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO), and was re-elected for a further two-year term in June 2020.

Ashley was previously Chair of the IOSCO Asia-Pacific Regional Committee and Vice Chair of the IOSCO Board. Ashley has represented IOSCO as a member of the Financial Stability Board Steering Committee and Plenary since his election as IOSCO Board Chair.

Ashley started his career as a lawyer in London in 1984. He moved to Hong Kong in 1989 with the international law firm Herbert Smith, practicing corporate and business law. He was Executive Director of Corporate Finance at the SFC from 2001 to 2004, before returning to Herbert Smith, where he became head of the firm’s Asia Region.

Peter Babej is CEO of Citi Asia Pacific, responsible for all businesses in the 17 countries and jurisdictions where Citi is present. Peter is a member of Citi's Executive Management Team.

Before his current role, Peter served as Global Head of the Financial Institutions Group. Under his leadership, Citi attained a leading position in the sector and participated in numerous landmark transactions globally.

Prior to joining Citi, Peter served in senior roles at Deutsche Bank and Lazard, where he advised financial institutions across North America, Europe and Asia.

Peter holds a B.A. (summa cum laude) from the Woodrow Wilson School of Princeton University, and a J.D. and Ph.D. from Harvard University. He is a director of Lungevity Foundation and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

Lori Beer is the Global Chief Information Officer (CIO) of JPMorgan Chase & Co. and a member of the company's Operating Committee, responsible for the firm's technology systems and infrastructure worldwide. Beer manages a budget of more than $11 billion and over 50,000 technologists supporting JPMorgan Chase's retail, wholesale and asset and wealth management businesses. She also serves as the co-sponsor of the firm's Access Ability Business Resource Group.

Beer joined the firm in 2014, and was most recently the Chief Information Officer for the Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB). Prior to joining the firm she was Executive Vice President of Specialty Businesses and Information Technology for WellPoint, Inc., responsible for a $10 billion business unit which included WellPoint's Specialty Products.

She also serves as a member of the University of Cincinnati's Lindner College of Business Advisory Council and has endowed a scholarship at the University to support the growing number of women in STEM careers.

Beer has been named a Computerworld Premier 100 IT Leader and National Association for Female Executives Women of Excellence Health Care Champion. She has also been ranked one of the Most Powerful Women in Banking by American Banker.

Beer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Dayton.

Kathryn Petralia is the President and Co-Founder of Kabbage, a leading global financial services, cash-flow technology and data platform for small businesses.
Before co-founding Kabbage, Kathryn spent nearly 15 years with fintech and ecommerce startups. After graduating from Furman University with an English degree, Kathryn pursued her interest in technology to launch a number of successful startups. She also served as Vice President of Strategy for Revolution Money, which was acquired by American Express, and was the director of corporate development for CompuCredit. In 2017, she was named to Forbes’ 2017 list of the World’s Most Powerful Women. Kathryn recently co-founded Drum, a platform reinventing sales infrastructure by connecting businesses to their ideal customers through an infinitely scalable sales force.

Professor Klaas Knot has been President of De Nederlandsche Bank since 1 July 2011. He serves as Vice Chair of the Financial Stability Board and Chair of its Standing Committee on the Assessment of Vulnerabilities. He is a member of the Governing Council and the General Council of the European Central Bank, member of the European Systemic Risk Board, Governor of the International Monetary Fund, Governor of the Bank for International Settlements and also member of its Board of Directors.

Klaas holds several secondary positions. He is Chairman of the Supervisory Boards of the CliniClowns Foundation. Since 2005, he has been Honorary Professor of Economics of Central Banking at the University of Groningen and since 2015 he is also Honorary Professor of Monetary Stability at the University of Amsterdam. Klaas has published several articles in leading (international) journals in monetary and financial economics.

Before taking up DNB’s presidency, Klaas was Deputy Treasurer-General and Director of Financial Markets at the Dutch Ministry of Finance (2009-2011). Between 1995 and 2009 he held several positions at DNB, the Pension and Insurance Authority (2003-2004) and the International Monetary Fund (1998-1999).

In 1991, he graduated with honours in economics at the University of Groningen. In 1995, he obtained his PhD in economics.

David Hanson develops robots that are widely regarded as the world’s most human-like in appearance, in a lifelong quest to create true living, caring machines. To accomplish these goals, Hanson integrates figurative arts with cognitive science and robotics engineering, inventions novel skin materials, facial expression mechanisms, and collaborative developments in AI, within humanoid artworks like Sophia the robot, which can engage people in naturalistic face-to-face conversations and currently serve in AI research, education, therapy, and other uses.

Hanson worked as a Walt Disney Imagineer, both a sculptor and a technical consultant in robotics, and later founded Hanson Robotics. As a researcher,Hanson published dozens of papers in materials science, artificial intelligence, cognitive science, and robotics journals — including SPIE, IEEE, the International Journal of Cognitive Science, IROS, AAAI, AI magazine and more. He wrote two books including“Humanizing Robots” and received several patents. Hanson was featured in the New York Times, PopularScience, Scientific American, WIRED, BBC and CNN.He also received earned awards from NASA, NSF,Tech Titans’ Innovator of the Year, RISD, CooperHewitt Design Triennial, and the co-received the 2005 AAAI first place prize for open interaction of an AI system. Hanson holds a Ph.D. in Interactive Arts and Technology from the University of Texas at Dallas, and a BFA in lm Animation video from the Rhode Island School of Design.

Christine leads the Interbank Information Network (IIN), a new ecosystem and network that enables collaboration, easy and direct access to value-added applications, and commercialization opportunities for financial institutions, corporates and fintechs. Additionally she oversees J.P. Morgan’s global Blockchain team, tasked with setting a comprehensive blockchain strategy for the firm and its various lines of business, designing and driving the development of cutting edge technology products, collaborating with the blockchain and crypto ecosystem, and guiding clients on the journey. Previously, she led development of productionized credit risk tools in Global Wealth Management and held various sales & structuring roles across Commodities, Asset-Backed Securities, and Syndicated Loans. She is a graduate of Brown University. Christine was recently named in Fortune’s The Ledger 40 Under 40 list of “the most impressive, young superstars transforming business at the leading edge of finance and technology.”

Joseph Lubin is a co-founder of Ethereum and founder and CEO of ConsenSys, one of the world's leading blockchain technology companies.

In 2014, Joseph co-founded the Ethereum Project and founded ConsenSys to focus on building infrastructure, developer tools, and decentralized applications on the Ethereum platform. Prior to working on Ethereum, Lubin’s career focused on the intersection of cryptography, engineering, and finance, including his role as VP of Technology in Private Wealth Management at Goldman Sachs.

Oliver oversees the strategic direction of the Tinkoff financial and lifestyle ecosystem.

He joined Tinkoff as CEO in 2007 and has been at the helm every step of the way, helping Tinkoff grow into the world's largest independent digital bank by customer base. Before joining Tinkoff, Oliver worked for Visa International for a decade, including as Head of Visa in Russia from 2005 until 2007. Prior to Visa, he held various positions including at Reebok, Shell UK, and the British Library.

Oliver holds a Master of Arts degree in International Politics from Leeds University and a Master’s degree in Information Management and Technology from City University in London. He also has a Bachelor’s (First Class) degree in Russian and French from the University of Sussex.

Agustín Carstens became General Manager of the BIS on 1 December 2017.

Mr Carstens was Governor of the Bank of Mexico from 2010 to 2017. A member of the BIS Board from 2011 to 2017, he was chair of the Global Economy Meeting and the Economic Consultative Council from 2013 until 2017. He also chaired the International Monetary and Financial Committee, the IMF's policy advisory committee from 2015 to 2017.

Mr Carstens began his career in 1980 at the Bank of Mexico. From 1999 to 2000, he was Executive Director at the IMF. He later served as Mexico’s deputy finance minister (2000–03) and as Deputy Managing Director at the IMF (2003–06). He was Mexico's finance minister from 2006 to 2009. 

Mr Carstens has been a member of the Financial Stability Board since 2010 and is a member of the Group of Thirty.

Mr Carstens holds an MA and a PhD in economics from the University of Chicago. 

Claire Calmejane began her career in 2006 in the Technology Transformation department of Capgemini Consulting, where she supported companies and especially financial institutions in their technological and digital transformation. Contributing to a study on the digital transformation of large companies led by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2011, she joined the London office of Capgemini to lead the digital centre of the Financial Services sector. Recruited in 2012 by Lloyds Banking Group as Head of Digital Delivery in the Online Services Department, she was appointed Innovation Director and set up the Innovation Labs and the Digital Academy before being appointed Risk Transformation Director at Lloyds Banking Group.

In September 2018, Claire Calmejane joined Societe Generale as Group Chief Innovation Officer. She is a member of the Group’s Management Committee

On December 18, 2015, CreditEase listed its online consumer finance and wealth management subsidiary, Yiren Digital, on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE:YRD), the first fintech company IPO from China in the global capital markets.

Mr. Tang serves as Chairman of Beijing Internet Finance Association and the member of Specialized Committee for Funds of Funds of China Securities Investment Fund Industry Association, Global Leadership Committee of Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and Shanghai Finance Institute. In September 2018, Mr. Tang was appointed financial advisor of Xi'an Municipal People's Government. CreditEase serves as member of Standing Committee of National Internet Finance Association of China as well as Vice Chairman of China Micro-credit Companies
Association. Invited by the Singapore Government, as from November 2018, Mr. Tang will sit on its International Technology Advisory Panel to advise Fintech developments. Mr. Tang is also a member of The Wall Street Journal CEO Council and Fortune CEO Initiative. In March 2019, Mr.

In this role David transformed IT function at Sberbank to a product-oriented engineering organization, dramatically reduced TCO of applications, decreased the operation teams by three times, reduced infrastructure-related incidents by 50%+, stabilized the production environments, and launched the #29 world’s powerful supercomputer Christofari. 

In September 2020, he and his team presented a family of virtual assistants, named Salute, and the first in history of Sberbank consumer electronics devices, called SberBox (a smart plug-in box to any TV set that has HDMI input with inbuilt virtual assistants), and SberPortal (a Smart Display with sound crafted by Harmon/Kardon which a person can interact using voice, gestures, touch, video, biometrics, and images). At the same time, David launched the SmartMarket, an analogue of AppStore or Google Play, which allows any company or entrepreneur in Russia creates smart skills for the assistants and get direct access to Sber’s ecosystem customers (100+ mln).

Mr. MU Changchun is appointed Director-General, Digital Currency Institute, the People’s Bank of China in July 2019. Mr. Mu joined the People’s Bank of China in 1995 and was appointed as Deputy Director-General of Payment & Settlement Department in 2017. Sergio Furio is CEO and Founder of Creditas, the main secured lending platform in Brazil. He was born in Spain and before moving to Brazil, worked as an Investment Banker at Deutsche Bank in Madrid for 5 years, then he moved to NY to join The Boston Consultant Group, where he worked for 7 years advising global financial institutions in strategic planning, product strategy and technology transformation. He co-founded the Brazilian Digital Credit Association, is a board member of HBS Alumni Angels in Brazil, Endeavor’s Entrepreneur, active angel investor, triathlete and marathon runner.

Vartika Ambwani has extensive experience in various areas in the technology ecosystem and is an early FinTech leader. She’s currently a Vice President at Silicon Valley Bank’s FinTech Growth team which focuses on post-Series A venture-backed companies with annual revenues between $5M and $75M. Vartika is responsible for business development and portfolio management which involves sourcing and managing relationships with founders, C-level executives, VC/PE investors, Corporate VCs, and industry influencers. She also focuses on commercial lending which includes origination, structuring, pricing, and deal diligence for venture debt deals, and working capital lines including warehouse credit facilities.

Prior to SVB, Vartika led Operations at two late-stage (Series B and Series C) FinTech startups in San Francisco, California. Prior to FinTech, Vartika served in various banking roles in Toronto, Canada. In addition to industry experience, Vartika is actively involved in the startup community and serves as an Advisor/Mentor to several VC firms and accelerators including First Round Capital, 500 Startups, Alchemist Accelerator, and Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center where she advises founders/CEOs on fundraising, capital management, go-to-market, partnerships, product expansion, and growth strategies.

Vartika is a CPA, CMA (Ontario, Canada) and completed her degree in Business Management from Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson University in Toronto,
Canada.

Jonathan Larsen is now Chief Innovation Officer of Ping An Group and Chairman and CEO of the Ping An Global Voyager Fund.

Jonathan spent 18 years at Citigroup where he was most recently Global Head of the firm’s Retail Banking and Mortgage businesses, generating ~$12Bn in
Revenues and spanning 19 countries. He has been at the leading edge of the financial services industry for the last 29 years across the Asia Pacific region and
globally. He brings a unique blend of strategic vision, operational depth, and understanding of the new technology landscape. He has led multiple large-scale,
successful businesses across a wide range of markets and has extensive experience in negotiating and managing partnerships and M&A transactions.

Prior to Citi, Jonathan was a Principal in the Financial Services Practice of global management consulting firm, Booz Allen & Hamilton where he spent eight years
advising large banks and other financial institutions across Asia, Australia and New Zealand and in the United States and Europe.

Jonathan is a Distinguished Fellow of the Institute of Banking and Finance, Singapore and was named Retail Banker of the Year in 2011 by Asian Banker
magazine. He has been widely quoted in major business publications including the Financial Times, Bloomberg, Reuters, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, the
Economist as well as local media throughout Asia Pacific. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) from the University of Melbourne.

Joseph is a career international banker. He has held executive positions at NAB, ANZ, CIBC World Markets, Citibank and Lloyds Bank.

As Group Executive/Divisional CEO, NAB Business Banking from 2008-14, Joseph was responsible for leading Australia’s largest and most profitable Business Bank and SME franchise.

A member of the Group Executive Committee, the Group Risk Committee and Group Asset and Liability Committee (ALCO), Joseph also chaired the Business Bank Divisional Risk Committee overseeing a loan portfolio of $220bn. At ANZ from 2000-4, Joseph developed a ‘Wall St. to Main St.’ strategy bringing advisory and private equity capabilities to the SME market.

From 2004-7, Joseph was ANZ’s Managing Director, Global Client Relationships. Joseph spent 12 years at Citi, where he had extensive credit and market risk training and held senior risk management roles. Joseph has deep customer, risk and business management experience, together with success in starting new businesses. Joseph holds a MSc (Finance), MBA, MSc International Management (China), MA in Contemporary Chinese Studies and MBA (Banking) degrees from University of London, London Business School and University of Nottingham in China and is currently studying for an MSc in Psychology and Neuroscience of Mental Health at Kings College, London. He is a fellow of FINSIA and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers.

He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland and authored three books: ‘Corporate Governance & Shareholder Wealth Creation’ (2003), ‘Chinese Firms Going Global – Can They Succeed? (2018) and ‘Breaking the Banks – What went wrong with Australia’s banking? (2019). Joseph is an Adjunct Professor at University of Queensland Business School, and was a member of the expert panel advising the Deans of Australian Universities on finance course content at Bachelor and Master Degree levels.

He was a Director of Football Federation Australia (FFA) from 2010-2018 and has five international football caps for Scotland at youth level.

Since 2016, Brian has been the Executive Director of Hyperledger, a project hosted at the Linux Foundation. He also volunteers on the boards of directors of the Mozilla Foundation (since 2003) and the Electronic Frontier Foundation (since 2013) and chairs the Technical Advisory Board at ID2020. Brian's career has switched between starting early web and open source companies (Wired Magazine, Organic and CollabNet), to working for the White House 2009-2010 and as Chief Technology Officer at the World Economic Forum. Brian lives on a farm with chickens and goats, and once took a day trip to Antarctica.

Mirna Sleiman is the founder and CEO of Fintech Galaxy, an open innovation and crowdsourcing platform that enables digital transformation of financial markets, through global engagement and collaboration by offering a cloud-based innovation crowdsourcing platform, an open API sandbox, and an AI-powered global fintech marketplace.
Mirna has more than 15 years of experience in government relations, business strategy, digital communications and journalism.

Arthur Yuen is in charge of the full range of banking policy, supervision, conduct, and enforcement issues at the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA). He joined the HKMA in 1996 as Head of Administration and has since taken up different responsibilities including research and liaison on China economic and market development issues before being appointed Head of Banking Supervision in 2000.  He took up the position as Executive Director (Banking Development) in July 2004, Executive Director (Banking Supervision) in June 2005 and Executive Director (External) in July 2008.  He was appointed to his present position on 1 January 2010.

Buhle Goslar is JUMO's Chief Executive  Officer for the Africa region and Pakistan.  She has held senior leadership roles in the  financial services, technology, retail, and  tourism sectors. Buhle has worked across  sub-Saharan Africa, as well as in Asian and  European markets. A certified international  retail banker, she also holds a BCom Marketing Degree from UNISA and an  Executive MBA from the GSB at the  University of Cape Town.

William Li is the Founder and CEO of Akulaku. Since founding Akulaku is 2014, he has grown the company to one of the largest and most well-funded financial technology groups in Southeast Asia with businesses including digital banking, BNPL, wealth management, and digital insurance. Before Akulaku, William was an investment management at PingAn Investment and a lawyer at King & Wood Mallesons. Before this, Geoffrey spent seven years as a founding Partner at Atomico, a leading global VC firm with over US$2 billion in assets under management where he focused on sourcing new investments and working with portfolio companies on their global business development and expansion initiatives. 

In 2002, Geoffrey co-founded Skype, where he also served as Chief Strategy Officer. At Skype, he worked with a small team to build a leading global telecommunications platform company and oversaw its expansion into Asia and Latin America in addition to driving its initial business plan development and fundraising activities. He also played an instrumental role in the $3.1 billion exit to eBay Inc in 2005.

Nick Molnar is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of North America for Afterpay, the leading retail installment payments innovator and one of the fastest growing global fintech companies. 

As a former investment analyst and young, serial-entrepreneur, Nick’s vision for Afterpay was to create a global payment solution that would allow consumers to pay for items in four interest-free installments. As a millennial himself, he recognized that this generation has an aversion to credit cards because they can lead to compounding debt. Nick launched Afterpay in Australia in October 2014 and listed the company on the Australian Securities Exchange in 2016. The company expanded into the U.S. in May 2018 and the UK in June 2019. In August 2020, the company expanded into Canada and Southern Europe.   

Prior to establishing Afterpay, Nick launched the leading American online jeweler, Ice.com, in Australia and successfully grew the business to become the largest online-only jewelry and watch retailer in Australia. Earlier in his career, Nick worked as an Investment Analyst at venture capital fund M. H. Carnegie & Co., where he was primarily responsible for growth stage investments.

Anthony is Chairman of MoMo, Vietnam’s leading e-wallet. Mr. Anubrata Biswas is the MD & CEO of Airtel Payments Bank Ltd, the first Payments Bank in India. Mr. Biswas has an experience of over 17 years in the Banking Industry, holding multiple leadership roles across geographies. Prior to joining Airtel Payments Bank, he worked with ICICI Bank Ltd, India’s second largest bank, as the Retail Business Head for South India.

Mr. Biswas started his banking career with ICICI in 2001. From 2002 onwards he was responsible for building the ICICI Bank brand in the USA and the Middle East, post which, he moved to London in 2006 to set up the Direct Banking business for ICICI Bank UK Plc, a subsidiary of ICICI Bank Limited. From 2009, he headed Retail & Private Banking, and was a member of the Management Committee for this subsidiary. Mr. Biswas moved to Mumbai from London in 2013 to take over the International Retail business for ICICI Bank Ltd. He then took over as the Zonal Head for the Bank in West Bengal from 2016-17.

Michael has an extensive background in financial services in Asia, Europe and North America. He has been in Asia-Pacific since 1995 - first in Hong Kong for six years, then in Sydney and Singapore, returning to Hong Kong in 2007. Before setting up Hubbis in early 2009, Michael founded Pacific Prospect in 2002 and sold it to global business-to-business publisher Incisive Media in 2006, continuing to serve as Chief Executive Officer until October 2008. 

Prior to Pacific Prospect, Michael worked for nine years in financial markets publishing. He joined Euromoney Publications in 1993 as the publisher of a quarterly magazine, International Bond Investor. In 1995, Michael joined Thomson Financial Services to conceive and launch Finance Asia magazine. While he was Managing Director of Finance Asia, Michael also launched the Asian Debt Review, Asian Private Capital Magazine and started the Finance Asia Conference Business. In 1997, Michael founded FIA Limited.

Nick Hungerford is a Partner at Portag3 Ventures and is based in Southeast Asia. He is also the founder of Nutmeg, Europe's leading online investment management service and led the company from an idea through development and $100M of funding. Nick is a digital ambassador for the UK Department of International Trade, a member of the European Power 50 and recipient of Spears Entrepreneur of the year award.

He previously worked at Barclays in areas of product, trading and wealth management and was a Divisional Director at Brewin Dolphin PLC.
