Karen Yip is the Founder of InnoGlobe, where she works hands-on with founders, especially mainland Chinese SMEs, from their first step into Hong Kong through to their first investor meeting.
Karen’s strength is her network and her ability to put it to work. Over two decades serving high-net-worth members and families, she has built trusted relationships with angel investors, venture funds and family offices, and she knows how to prepare founders for those rooms, turning customer acquisition costs, lifetime value and margins into a story investors can back. She pairs this with deep commercial connections across distributors, retail buyers, manufacturers and logistics partners, so a meeting becomes a sales channel rather than a business card.
She also brings credibility. Through the InnoGlobe ecosystem, Karen connects brands with university partners including CUHK, CityU and PolyU, an advisory bench of HKUST scientists and consumer-goods leaders who have run brands at Danone and Nestlé, and member companies across eight sectors, from food tech and biotech to fintech. Her founders gain third-party testing, expert endorsement and visibility on Hong Kong’s biggest stages, from government and chamber events to the Hong Kong Brands and Products Expo.
Her approach is co-building, not consulting: she stays alongside a business long after the introduction is made, until the product is on the shelf and the right partners are at the table.

Twenty years as a senior equity trader at BlackRock. Seven years helping fintechs find their commercial footing in financial markets. Two careers that continuously inform each other.
I am a Managing Partner at Finceler8, where I focus on commercial growth for fintech firms operating in financial markets. I spent those previous twenty years as a senior equity trader at BlackRock, trading pan-European equity investment products and that practitioner background is central to how I work. I understand the markets these firms are trying to serve from the inside, and that changes the quality of the conversations I can have on their behalf.
I am based in Hong Kong, having spent the majority of my career in London. I work across global financial centres, and as a fluent Arabic speaker, I have a particular affinity for Middle Eastern markets. I am also a mathematics graduate of University College London and a mentor at Level39.
I am deeply passionate about elevating the public visibility of senior women in fintech. I actively work to put them in front of the right audiences, platforms, and opportunities and to connect them with each other.
